AJAX - Bleach For Breakfast

I am from Holland, I live in Rotterdam to be more precise and I support my local football club Feyenoord through thick and (unfortunately mostly) thin. Our rivals come from Amsterdam and go by the name of Ajax. I hate Ajax. Naturally my blood started boiling once I spotted a EP from a band named AJAX between the rest of my order, a gift from Even Worse Records located in… Amsterdam.

 

I like jokes like that, but I like receiving some good hardcore 45’s even better and “Bleach For Breakfast” is one of those EP’s. Originally released as a cassette at the end of last year (2013), these five, faster than a bullet train, New York hardcore tracks are finally available on black and limited transparent pink wax. AJAX features members of bands such as Nomos, Nuclear Spring and CREEM, so they’re no strangers to a fast and furious sound, but on “Bleach For Breakfast” these guys really put the pedal to the metal and the only break and chance to breath is when you have to flip this sucker over! Whew!
