Altough All Bandits have been around for over 10 years, I never heard a single song from them. The EP “Made In Poland” introduces me to those, obviously Polish, lads, and after doing some research I found out that some of these songs were on previous releases. Since I never heard those records I cant tell if these are new recordings or not. Old or new, either way my introduction to All Bandits is a very positive one!

 

“Made In Poland” contains 4 tracks, and altough the lyrics are 100% in the band’s native tongue they were kind enough to translate the lyrics in English on the lyricsheet. What you get are songs about drinking beer, having hangovers and the skinhead way of life with that typical Polish Oi! sound. I received quite some Polish stuff, mostly on tape, about a year or ten ago from The Real Horrorshow, The Analogs, The Gits, Rezystencja and such, and I was quite surprised seeing a cover on here (called “Skinheads”) from the last band I mentioned.

 

Though I have to be honest, this band didn’t really need a cover from a band I used to listen a lot to when I was younger, the other tracks they wrote themselves are pretty good stuff as well with nice sing-a-longs and a very melodic sound. Recommended!
