Arch Rivals - Outlaws
Randale Records
After 2014’s debut single “On Our Own” and 2015’s full-length “One More Round”, it is time again for another single by one of England’s finest, new streetpunk bands out there: Arch Rivals! Just like their first 7”, released by Shout Proud Records, “Outlaws” contains two new songs, only this time around it is Randale Records who took care of business.
On the A-side you’ll find the band’s title song, “Arch Rivals”. Front man Mike told me they have been playing this track for little over eight months live now and I can hear why, this is a straight up anthem! The chorus is catchy as hell and have you singing along in no-time. People that know me personally know I love a good ‘woohoo’ in a song, and along with the boisterous refrain you’ll have plenty of vocals and melodies to sing along to. Breaking the song down with some massive handclaps rounds it up for me, making it a complete and extremely solid streetpunk anthem!
On the flipside you’ll find another cracking song in the form of the title-track “Outlaws”. More melody, more power and more to sing along to! These are the songs I could – literally – listen to all day long! So despite that I received a copy of the 7”, I just gave up flipping it around over and over again and looked it up on Spotify. That is the only problem I have with this single, the lack of songs – two just ain’t enough guys! Streetpunk, skinhead, rock ‘n’ roll!
