Crown Court - Trouble From London
Quality Control HQ
I love me some Violent Reaction, a fast and furious hardcore band from the United Kingdom with who just released the brand new “Dead End” EP on 7”. Prior to this EP, I suppose, Violent Reaction members Chubby Charlie and Nick went in the studio to record the “Trouble From London” demo with their new band Crown Court.
But instead of that fast and furious hardcore you know these guys from with Violent Reaction this tape serves you some ‘classic’ British Oi! music. I say ‘classic’ because the three songs on “Trouble From London” remind me of Skrewdriver’s “All Skrewed Up” era as well as pretty much anything recorded by The Templars with a British accent and I love it! This is raw, in your face Oi! music as it should be, and it doesn’t sound like Crown Court spend weeks in the studio for overproducing the living crap out of it which makes the songs “TFL”, “Hammer A Nail” and “BTP” sound pure and real, despite the fact that this might just as well be the only Crown Court release we will ever see.
All that trouble in London goes worldwide with this cassette and these tapes are going mighty fast. So you might as well believe the hype and hop on, because this tape is without a doubt worth the couple of bucks, or pounds, it costs!
