Dead Low – Not For Sale

Listen up, because Dead Low is at it again! Well over two years have passed since the Massachusetts outfit debuted with their “Listen Up!” EP for Audio Epidemic Records, and now this raucous trio is back for more with the recently released “Not For Sale” EP!

 

Once again released by Audio Epidemic Records, I had to double check if I was listening to the same Dead Low of two years ago. Sure, I loved the aforementioned debut EP, but it pales into comparison with this record! Because everything – from the vocals to the mastering – sounds more powerful and quite frankly, much better on “Not For Sale” as it did on “Listen Up!”. Obviously a big plus!

 

Released on either black (83 copies), transparent green (109 copies) or transparent blue (109 copies) vinyl, Dead Low unleashed four fairly brilliant (and fairly ferocious) anthems on “Not For Sale”. With not a single weak note or chord in sight, the boys from Cape Cod rip it through “Get Out”, “Dead Man Walking”, title-track “Not For Sale” and “Seeing Red” like there’s no tomorrow, making this 7” a real powerhouse from start to finish!

 

Now if you liked Dead Low’s first effort or some good old streetrock ‘n’ roll in general, you’ll most likely love “Not For Sale”! So make sure you pick up a copy, because the band might not be for sale, this EP definitely is!
