Drip Feed – Music Strikes Like A Fucking Dagger

You know it, I know it… when it comes down to music, no matter if you like Oi!, punk or… euro-pop, some of the coolest shit hails from Sweden. Therefor I didn’t have to think twice when I was asked to write a review about the debut EP of Stockholm’s Drip Feed, because when it comes from Sweden, the “Music Strikes Like A Fucking Dagger”!

 

And yet again the Swedes do not disappoint! Kicking out that old school punk sound with a good dose of Oi!, Drip Feed nails that UK82 sound with fast-paced, roaring guitars and boisterous choruses somewhat similar to bands like Cinderblock, Breakout and Wartribe. Just to name a few

 

Containing a total of four tracks, “Music Strikes Like A Fucking Dagger” lives up to its title. “Digital Era”, “Dagger”, “Stay Free” and “Hidden Agenda” definitely strike like a fucking dagger with its raw, rowdy sound and violent vocals – bound to cause some chaos on the dancefloor! I can’t wait to hear some more Drip Feed, but for now…
