The pack is back! Three years after Hard Wax’ last full-length “This Is The Sound”, Tom Boutwood and his newly recruited band-members Ronny (The Reapers, Daydrinker, Crown Court) and Matt (Riot City Radio) have returned with the band’s best work to date - “Don’t Stop The Beat”!

 

Released on CD* and LP** through Rebellion Records (*/**) and LSM Vinyl (**), Hard Wax’ third album contains eight all new stompers that are pure grit from start to finish! As mentioned earlier, this is undoubtedly the band’s best and most powerful record to date and obviously it all has to do with the band’s current formation. Both Tom and Ronny are musical jacks-of-all-trades and creative wizards to the bone, while Matt makes sure that the rhythm section is as solid as a rock. The three combined are like TNT and the result is – who would have thought – explosive!

 

Stuffed with hard scorching junkshop glam and proto Oi! influenced stompers, Hard Wax barely changed its musical directions, but the sound is bigger, better and tighter nonetheless! Delivering hit after hit with tracks like “Don’t Stop The Beat”, “This Town”, “Black And Blue”, “Genocide, Baby!” and “Shadows Of The Night” it’s perfectly clear that this is bovver rock 2.0 and an absolute must for those who like their boots big, their beats bigger and their stomps the biggest!

 

I already had the CD for a while, but the LP is out now, comes on either black, purple or clear (with blue and purple splatter) vinyl and is housed in a beautiful gatefold jacket! Now pull on the boots and lace ‘em tight, because this beat ain’t stopping any time soon! Love it!
