Junto – Morior Invictus

Contra Records / LSM Vinyl

After two killer EP’s for Contra Records, the boys from Junto are back with their hardest work to date - “Morior Invictus”! Released by Contra Records (Europe) and LSM Vinyl (North America), this slab of wax goes down in history as the band’s full-length debut – with hopefully many more to come!

Because “Morior Invictus” is pure fire from start to finish! Every track lays down the hammer and lays it down hard. With drums raining down like heavy artillery, buzzsaw guitars that cut right through you and those tough as nails vocals by frontman Matt, Junto cranks out pure impact all record long, undoubtedly delivering their best work to date!

With eight songs at a three minute average each, “Morior Invictus” isn’t necessary – or unnecessary, depending on your view on a full-length record and/or your attention span – long. And despite that heavy weight scorchers like “Frontline”, “Under The Boot”, “Here To Stay”, “WW3” and “Knock ‘Em Down” leave me hungry for more, the playtime of little over twenty-four minutes is perfect and can righteously carry the title ‘all killer, no filler’ – because that is exactly what this LP is!

Fans of hard-hitting, brickwall American Oi! (the sound and movement – not this page) can easily pick this 12” up – it’s an absolute must! Topped off by the ever sick artwork of Muna, this LP comes on white (100 copies, band version), black (150 copies, LSM Vinyl) and oxblood (250 copies, Contra Records) vinyl.
