Liberty And Justice – 4 All
Crowd Control Media
After a digital demo (2017) and a split EP with The Abductors on Arrest Records (2018), 2019 marks the release of Liberty And Justice’s debut LP “4 All” on Crowd Control Media! A very anticipated record to say the least, as these ex-members of Thug Boots, Roger Miret And The Disasters and Black Coffee – just to name a few – already impressed on those previous recordings and guess what? They continue crackin’ skulls on “4 All”!
And not just by themselves. Because with a little help from Joe Blow (Dog Company), Roger Miret (Agnostic Front, The Disasters), Matt Henson (Noi!se), Johnny Rioux (The Bruisers, The Disasters) and Dave Wells (Storm Of Ages) this Texan powerhouse turned “4 All” into a real family affair! Not that these guys need it, but still - Joe and Matt’s vocal contributions (on respectively “My Father’s Son” and “Inside Job”) deliver a nice, melodic change compared to front man Ryan’s mean, raspy vocals – so you won’t hear me complain either!
But as said, Liberty And Justice doesn’t really need it – because every single song on “4 All” holds it ground, bursting out one hard-hitter after another! Sounding like a mix of The Brassknuckle Boys and Forced Reality, the Houstonians hand over one scorching street rock ‘n’ roll track after another with anthems like “Priscillas Kids”, “Honest Way”, “Trenches”, “Battle Scars”, “Cachitos Song” and “Chases War”, while cranking up the pace and aggro with “Pipe Bomb” and “Never Enough”! Especially the latter sounds like a song of fellow Texans Concrete Elite – another band I absolutely love – giving this LP a nice variety in sound and style.
Available on black, red (with white swirl) and blue (with white swirl) vinyl, Liberty And Justice’s debut LP is an absolute must-have for those who like their street rock American through and through! “4 All” is a killer album and might just be Crowd Control Media’s best release to date! Killer!
