Marching Orders from Australia really grew on me the last couple of years and without a doubt I can say they are one of my favorite bands that are around these days with their latest album “Living Proof” being one of my favorite records that came out this year. But just before 2014 comes knocking on your door these lads release a split EP with the Dutch veterans of Evil Conduct with a brand new track by both bands.

Again I’m amazed by the high quality of this new Marching Orders song. Not that I expect anything less, but I can imagine it’s tough to top yourself as a band with every release especially after a album such as “Living Proof”. But the boys from Down Under managed once again and “Worth The Fight” became instantly one of my favorite tracks by this band, I love the lyrics, the music, the vocals and the chorus is fantastic with the acoustic guitar in it. Top song!

But that’s side B, of course there’s also a side A with no one less than our own Evil Conduct. These guys have been around for as long as I can remember and then some more. Altough the band hasn’t changed their sound… ever, I still like this band a lot. Also the new track “Yesterday’s Rebelion” brings nothing new, but has that typical Evil Conduct sound and there’s nothing wrong with that.
