These days it’s quite useless to review releases done by Lionheart Records. Why? Because every release seems to sell out in a few minutes these days! When the label started out back in 2006 already the pressing runs were quite high and Lionheart’s releases from bands such as The Young Ones and 2 Fatties & The Bloody Beerbois are still available here and there, but good luck with finding later releases from The Righteous and Marching Orders, just to name a few…

Still not every copy is being sold by Lionheart and a small batch of EP’s wind up at various mailorders, so it’s wise to pay attention when a new record is coming out. Same goes out for the No Quarter EP, which I believe is sold out everywhere as well by now, who provide two tracks of classic British Oi! music in the vein of Combat 84, Condemned 84 and Close Shave. I sometimes wonder when the British take their Oi! music back and can compete with the classic bands from the 80’s, but with TMF, London Diehards, Booze & Glory and Pressure 28 (though being a band from the 80’s as is) there’s no real reason to complain these days. No Quarter probably can be added to that list in the coming years, their sound is more than decent (though I hear a few mistakes here and there) and especially the A-side with ‘Fight For The Moment’ really stands out.

If you’re a fan of that classic British sound and you can still get your hands on this, do so. You don’t want to regret yourself over 20 years when you have to buy this EP from Discogs, or whatever site you have then, for 50 bucks.
