No Quarter - For Crown & Country
Unstoppable Hate Records
Birmingham’s No Quarter immediately caught my attention in 2013 with their outstanding debut EP “Fight For The Moment” for Lionheart Records. With two four-way split albums (or compilations as you may like) last year, it is now time for the lads to unleash their first full-length album “For Crown & Country”!
When you own the band’s back catalog, songs like “Fight For The Moment”, “No Quarter”, “Stand For England” and “Ain’t What I Call Oi!” might sound familiar to you already. Along with the two covers, originally performed by Another Man’s Poison and Johnny Cash, some might think that they don’t get a whole lot of new bang for their British Pound, but don’t be mistaken! The previously released tracks have been fully re-recorded and together with the five brand new original, previously unreleased, songs No Quarter sounds stronger and meaner than ever before!
Influenced by bands as Retaliator, Baker’s Dozen and the old guard like Close Shave, Combat 84 and Condemned 84, No Quarter’s sound isn’t for the faint hearted! With brutally honest lyrics about respect, patriotic pride, the fight against terrorism and vengeance, the Birmingham lads deliver a real powerhouse, filled with tried and true skinhead anthems from British soil! Killer!
