Out of Buffalo, New York hails The Elite, an all-new Oi! band who debuted back in 2018 with a (digital) demo and now come out swingin’ with their first ever release on vinyl! Released by Contra Records (Europe) and Insurgence Records (North America), the three-piece delivers four hard-hitters on their ‘official’ debut EP “Reason For My Sin”!

 

Opening up strong with “You Are The Fool”, these guys instantly grab you by the throat. With a tight, powerful rhythm section, both heavy and melodic guitar sounds and snarling, mean vocals, The Elite sure as hell are packing punches and they don’t sound like they’re going to calm down any time soon! And they don’t, because these guys don’t flinch for a single second with the tracks “Reason For My Sin”, “Bleed” and the re-recorded demo-track “Crisis” that follow, simply delivering one hit after another!

 

More than often the powerful, hard-hitting sound of The Elite reminds me of the mighty Anti-Heros, mixed with some modern day madness by the likes of Legion 76, DDC and so on – a thunderous sound to say the least and therefor very likely that you, the one who reads this, will be into these guys as well!

 

Available on either black vinyl (Contra Records, 250 copies) or ultra-clear vinyl (Insurgence Records, another 250 copies), the housing of this 7” is just as solid as the music itself! With a thick sleeve, an even thicker inner sleeve and a lyric sheet, this release is built to last – while the tunes set out to destroy! Time to check The Elite out!
