When your mailman brings you the new Rixe 7” and the new Yellow Stitches in one week, you would almost consider this guy your friend for these awesome presents!

 

It took this New Hampshire band 4 years to release this 7”, but damn it was worth the wait. The first song “Sick Mind” kicks off right where their last record stopped. This song is in the same vein as songs as “Tale Of A Fat Fucking Retard”. Love it! “Sex Machine” and “Long Gone” are also two great hard melodic songs and there’s a nice reference to the almighty Vanilla Muffins in that last one.  The vinyl buyers are rewarded with an acoustic version of “Sick Mind” as an vinyl exclusive bonus track.

 

There’s a ridiculous amount of good stuff already released this year like The Brass, Rixe, Legion 76, Live By The Sword, Rile 9 , but this 7” has a good chance to end in my top 10 this year. Now let’s hope they won’t keep us another four years waiting for a new release.
