Zeman - Sunday Boys

Hellnation

Nearly four years after the band’s debut album “Attitudine Offensiva”, Bologna’s Sunday boys Zeman are back with an all new record! And where their aforementioned debut (2015) and the split “From Sardinia To Bologna - Contus De Maris E Montis” with Coru & Figau (2017) were only released on CD, Zeman’s latest “Sunday Boys” is their first release on vinyl - thanks to Hellnation!

With a total of twelve songs, the majority of the tracks on this slab of wax are in the band’s native tongue (Italian), while only two tracks are in English - namely “Football Violence” and title-track “Sunday Boys”. Luckily - because to be honest, I like the Italian vocals (and therefor the songs) far, far better - 0% accent, 100% power through and through!

Filled with rivalry, football and the accompanying violence, Zeman delivers a solid sophomore album with “Sunday Boys”. Together with Rude of Ghetto 84 (on “Troppo Grezzo”) and the boys from Clear Cut (on “Qvis Contra”), the ‘Rude Rebel Ultras’ aren’t doing this on their own and deliver some fine tunes including the two just mentioned, but with “Rivalsa”, “La Nostra Gioventu’”, “Rude Rebel Ultras” and “Diego Armando Maradona” as well!

Limited to 300 copies, all come on black vinyl but were pressed as a rock solid, 180 gram LP. So if you like your streetpunk Italian (be it with a little Sardinian as demonstrated on “Sotzialismu Indipendentzia”) you might want to check Zeman out!
